Do you live in Pointe-Sainte-Charles? In partnership with Share the Warmth, CEM offers two extension choirs for children ages 7 – 11.
Rehearsals: Share the Warmth (625 rue Fortune)
Schedule:
Preparatory Choir: Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 4:50 PM
Junior Choir: Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The choirs perform in two annual CEM concerts accompanied by professional musicians. By exploring ambitious repertoire in a friendly atmosphere, choristers develop their:
- vocal technique
- ability to read a musical score
- interest in music theory and rhythms
- capacity to sing in harmony (two or three parts)
- team spirit
- stage presence
- ability to sing by heart in different languages.
Concert Attire :
- Either a concert dress provided by CEM
- Or black pants and a black shirt, to be purchased
