Rehearsals: Marcel Giroux Community Centre
Schedule: Tuesdays from 5:30 – 6:20 pm
Annual Fees: $510 (September 2025 to June 2026)
This group performs in 2 annual CEM concerts, accompanied by professional musicians. While fostering a love of music and singing, the choristers also develop their:
- capacity to concentrate, maintain good posture and respect group discipline
- vocal technique
- ability to read a musical score
- interest in music theory and rhythms
- capacity to sing in harmony (two parts)
- team spirit
- stage presence
- ability to sing by memory in a concert situation.
Each week, choristers will receive an online assignment to do or a list of lyrics to memorize. Choristers should spend between 5 and 30 minutes on this homework each week.
Criteria * :
- fill out the google form on July 1 (Please email us to receive it)
- register (form and payment) by the first rehearsal
- attend the first rehearsal on Tuesday, September 9 from 5:30 – 6:20 pm
- attend initiation on Sunday, September 14 from 2:00 – 2:50 pm
